1. International freight supplement situation

The procurement platform of Hong Kong Rochester Semiconductor Co., Ltd. waives basic international shipping costs for the import of integrated circuit (IC) materials.

When some models (such as fans, cables, modules, etc.) are purchased in large quantities, large in size, or heavy in weight, the customer is required to pay the excess freight difference.When overweight occurs, our customer service staff will contact you to remind you to pay the freight.

2. Customs duties, commodity inspection, and 3C fees

According to national customs regulations:

Imports of integrated circuits (ICs) are exempt from tariffs

Non-integrated circuit components (such as relays, bandpass filters, attenuators, various modules, cables, etc.) may require an additional 3%-12% tariff.

Switches, fuses, gas discharge tubes, etc. require commodity inspection and 3C certification fees. If the order you submit contains models that require payment of tariffs or other customs declaration fees, our customer service staff will notify you as soon as possible and inform you about the repayment.

3. About embargoed models

Chip Street strictly abides by the relevant export restrictions of overseas suppliers. However, orders for models involving export restrictions/embargoes will not be placed. The specific situation will be determined based on the supplier's shipment status.Sometimes it may happen that you are temporarily informed before shipment that it is within the scope of export restrictions/embargoes, and you need to cancel the order and get a refund.Chip Street will not be responsible for any losses arising therefrom.We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you and apologize for your understanding.

4. Order review mechanism

Due to possible tariffs, embargoes, etc. on goods, Chip Street has set up an order review mechanism.After the user successfully submits the order, Chip Street customer service personnel need to confirm the order and make payment after there are no problems.The specific status of the order review can be viewed in the member center, or contact customer service online for details.

5. Model data update delay problem

All data on the Chip Street website comes from corresponding suppliers and is basically guaranteed to be updated in real time.However, due to reasons such as supplier inventory data being open to the world or the data on the supplier website itself not being updated in a timely manner, there may be slight errors in the spot price and inventory quantity information you see when purchasing.After successfully placing an order, if the order status is updated to confirmed order, please pay as soon as possible to avoid changes in price and inventory quantity.If you have any questions, our customer service staff will contact you as soon as possible.
